Parenting and You offer workshops on a variety of topics. They take place in the Guildford area or other locations as required.

At home. Why not gather a group of up to 15 people together in your home or a local venue and host a workshop?
Cost: £40 per person, with the organiser paying half price.

Schools and nurseries. Parenting workshops can help to foster links between parents and schools. Workshops take place as part of an informal coffee morning for 8-20 parents, teachers or carers, or as a 90-minute talk for larger numbers. Based on the core skills taught in the courses or on separate topics of particular interest, they can be tailored to fit with the ethos and values of a school.

Businesses and clubs. Work life and home life are intertwined and success at work depends, a great deal, on harmony and happiness at home. Employers benefit from supporting employees to manage the dual demands of work and child rearing. Courses and workshops are available to businesses that want to offer professional parenting support to working parent employees during breakfast meetings or lunch hours, after work or during training or corporate events. The format can be adapted accordingly.

Private parent consultations. Private confidential consultations tailored to your needs can be very effective either alone or in addition to a course. They can focus on a particular issue or cover the full content of a course. Parents attend individually or as a couple.
